Daily Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for Quality Assurance

At JTC Training Centre, quality is not just a standard—it is our commitment. To ensure every trainee achieves the highest level of welding competency, all welding test pieces are subjected to Daily Ultrasonic Testing (UT) upon completion of each day’s practical training. This rigorous inspection process allows us to:

• Verify the internal soundness and integrity of welds.
• Detect hidden defects such as cracks, lack of fusion, porosity, and slag inclusions.
• Evaluate welding performance against industry quality standards.
• Provide trainees with immediate technical feedback for continuous improvement.

By incorporating Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) into our daily training program, we prepare our trainees to meet the demanding quality requirements of the global marine, offshore, oil & gas, and construction industries.
